Laura R. Beasley received her J.D. from Tulane University and was admitted to the Kentucky bar in 2000.  Laura initially practiced corporate defense litigation with a large defense firm in Louisville, Kentucky.  She subsequently joined and later became a partner with a Louisville plaintiff’s firm, where she specialized in workers’ compensation law, civil litigation, and estate planning.  Laura joined our firm in 2006.  In 2018, she was made a partner in the firm in recognition of her many contributions to the firm and its reputation in the legal community.  

Laura is one of the leading litigators with U’Sellis Mayer & Associates, where she concentrates in workers compensation defense, subrogation and civil litigation in both state and federal court.  She is also admitted to federal practice in both the Western District and Eastern District of Kentucky. Laura has particular expertise in handling claims involving Medicare Set Aside Arrangements.  The breadth of her experience has proven invaluable to the firm and its clients. She is listed in Best Lawyers in America, and has been selected as a “Top Lawyer” by Louisville Magazine.
